I'd like to get a tv tuner card and i'm a complete n00b when it comes to this... I've read some reviews and everyone says this card is good and that card is great but at the same time i've heard that those cards have serious probs... I'm looking for something around $100 thats my budget. I bought the ATI TV Wonder VE w/ Remote Control but I heard that TV Wonder Pro is just released and is better. What about the Hauppauge (did I spell it right?) WinTV USB?... I want to use a tv card to just watch tv and hook up PS2 to that and play it sometimes. If possible I'd also like to use the PVR feature if any... PVR isn't a MUST but it'd help to have it.... advice? plz.....

would there be any probs with my system:

Intel 1.6A Ghz Northwood Processor
Intel Mobo
Samsung PC800 256MB RDRAM
ATI Radeon 8500 64MB DDR RETAIL
SB Audigy Gamer
Creative 5.1 5300 Spkrs
Dualboot XP/RedHat 9

USB is too slow for good resolutions. Pinacle makes a USB 2.0 device, or you can use an internal card. The VE is the cheap version of the TV-Wonder.

The TV Wonder is a great card. Really nice to use. I also owned a Hauppauge Theatre card, and I liked it too, but it was a pretty big card. It's remote is pretty crappy too, not nearly as beautiful as ATIs. In fact, ATIs remote is better than most TV and home theatre remotes, plus it lets you control your mouse from it. It's fully featured.
