Higher Vdimm than bios allow

I'm planning to get 2x256 of the OCZ PC4000 Gold memory, it says that warrenty covers vdimm up to 3.0, but the thing is my P4P800 only support up to 2.85, so I'm just wandering, is it possible to do some sort of a mod on my mobo to allow higher vdimm.
