I have this problem. My tenda wireless router that I was using for a long time was transferred to the other PC. How could I get back the connection 'coz now it requires password at all. I've entered passwords but it didn't work.
I want to change password now but how will I do that?

There should be a reset button somewhere on the router. It may be a small hole that you need to insert a paperclip into. See your manual.

Be careful when doing this as it sets EVERYTHING back to factory defaults. The password will be gone, but so will other setting you may need. You'll need to go into the router and make sure it's configured properly after resetting to factory.

Find Your Internet Security Passphrase

1)Open the web browser that you use: Firefox,Google Chrome,IE,or Opera and type in the IP address for your router, and press the Enter key.
http://www.routeripaddress.com/92/d-link_routers/ < Router IP addresses can be found here

2)A window will open and then type in your routers default username and password, and press the Enter key again

http://www.routerpasswords.com/ < Router usernames and passwords found here

3)Navigate to the Wireless Security\Network Security Settings Tab and open it to locate your WEP or WPA Security Passphrase.
Use WPA because it provides better security.

4)Write this Security Passphrase down and put it in a safe place to access when needed.

5)Save settings and close your browser.
