KRK V6 Series 2 differences?

The series 2 have auto on/off and speaker protection (limiter)
circuitry.
The outer cabinet covering seems different (more reflective/shiny) but
seems to be a purely cosmetic difference. The woofers on the series 2
also seem completely smooth compared to the woven kevlar look of the
original series.

As for sonic differences I don't know how different the new series is.
I have the original V8's and an engineer pal of my just got the series
2 v8's we've yet
to do any side to side comparisons though.
