Just bought an Alesis ADAT HD24 and was wondering if the files would
transfer into Deck using the firewire dock? I don't have a firewire
port on my G3 but I would add one if it would work.

The fireport just allows you to read the files from the HD24's hard drive
in WAV or AIFF format. If Deck can read these, then you'll be ok.
