Maybe the memory will become defragmented? Really you can do the same with a reboot. What are your system specs, and why do you not reboot?

Um, I would say you'd end up with some malware. My understanding is that RAM is fully managed by the OS. Furthermore, RAM is volatile and gets cleared out every time you shut down you computer, so it should not get a chance to get fragmented. So I think that anyone that's telling you that you need to gefrag your RAM is pulling your leg or worse.
