sooo... im trying to play ut online, so i figured id install the latest patch before i did. i downloaded it and when i install it, i get a message saying the system "expected" a different version of ut and that my files arent in my cd rom? whats up with that? it is a legit copy.... nuthin from morpheus. i got it with my sound blaster... is that the problem?

i tried Morpheus..... but i didnt inhale....

The version of Unreal Tournament that came with the Sound Blaster XGamer 5.1 is a little differant from the regular game and you do need a patch for that version. I can't remember off hand where I found it for my son, but it's out there and after patching it once you can then use the regular patches after that. Check Creative Labs for a possible link. If I remember right even after you install a No-CD crack and no longer need the CD to play, you do need it to patch the game. Unreal Tournament that is.
