I'm putting a new system together, I have everything except a HD I was wondering If this is a good HD to use Maxtor 7Y250M0 250GB SATA Hard Drive 8MB chace?
The system I'm putting this into is a Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 XP 3000 with 512 mb DDR memory I hope this helps.

AFAIK its a good drive, but expensive. The 120GB 6Y120M0 is less than half the price, so you could buy 2 of those, run them in a RAID 0 array and have better performance for less money.
