A friend has computer and whenever he enters the bios for whatever reason, It always automatically disables the usb devices. Have to manually enable them again.

MOBO is a Soyo Dragon Plus K7V

Hi, I think I know this problem. It happens because in the BIOS the system is configured to TURBO mode (I am not sure if the word is TURBO), when it is configured it disables the USB ports. Look, I have found this http://www.soyousa.com/kb/kbdesc.php?id=78

Well, switching to normal mode did the trick but everything seems to run slowere now. He said he will deal with the little problem being that he doesnt go into the bios that often.

turbo mode eh? that was my last board and i had the same problem. i just dealt with it.
