I'm wondering if anyone knows how much heat is added by putting in two 512 sets of RAM rather than one. Notebooks seem to run hot anyway and I'm wondering which is better - to have a cool notebook or have the benefit of some extra RAM.
Most memory doesnt put out THAT much heat, i would go for it. Also SODIMMS are probably specially made to use less energy and put out less heat (although i dont know for sure).
