My name is C. J. Whittaker I'm currently creating some chess software
for Windows, and I wanted to take the opportunity to get some chess
players involved. There is not currently much is working; I'll be
totally honest with you here, the basic Player v Computer engine IS
working and I'd really appreciate some feedback on that, as well as
simple skinning and a few other basics.

There ARE a lot of features that I want to build in and I would really
appreciate your ideas and feedback.

Just a few of the features that I plan on implementing are discussed on
the iChess Beta page, (Details to follow). Of interest to some of you,
however, would be Internet games, correspondence via email and direct
connection. There will be the ability to handle PGN files and work with
the databases they contain, including analysis and creation of opening
books etc.

If you'd like to take part please check out the following link, please
also bare in mind that I am not just looking for chess pro's or anything
like that. I would like to involve a wide cross section of skill levels
in the development of this application.

http://www.whits-end.co.uk/deimos/beta_index.html, and if you agree with
the license terms, you can click the ichess link on the page that
follows clicking on I Agree.

Or email me at (replace at for @ and dot for .):-

Thanks for your time.

p.s. Sorry about the cross post.
