I just finnished putting my new PC together and everything works perfectly except my TV tuner card. Im using the Hauppauge WinTV 250 card.

When I open up the TV viewing program it will scan the channels and it finds all of them correctly but when I try to actually watch TV the window is just black, no sound either.

I've updated all the drivers and software but the problem still persists. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Try putting the card in another slot.
