  1. Go to
    Right Click My Computer> Properties
    Advanced System Settings
    Under Startup and Recovery
    Click Settings
    In the Default Operating System Choose the Windows you want to keep
    Click OK and exit the whole thing.
    Reboot into the OS and format the other drive.
    There you have a single instance of Win 7 on your PC.
  2. Use bcedit or easybcd to remove one of the boot options from the boot loader then format the drive.
