The good:
Nod32 (paid)
Kaspersky (paid)
Avast (free)

Average:
Avira (free)
MSE (free)

The bad:
Norton (paid)
Panda (bad 'cause it's cloud-based)
AVG (free)

The ugly:

I use Avast. Viper is good to but it is paid. Viper rescue is free though, which is a great tool, but not anti-virus.

Hi :)

You will get a LOT of different opinions to that question lol :)

I fix viruses EVERY day in my Computer shops....

IMHO...

Norton Internet Security 2012 = BEST PAID

Microsoft Security Essentials = BEST FREE

BUT...Norton is around twice as good as MSE...

All the best Brett :)

Hi :)

You obviously dont run Nis.... It uses less than 1% of system resources.... and I have over a dozen machines here which I just checked....highest was 0.9% ...lowest was 0.3%...

That resource problem with NIS was resolved with NIS 09 ...

All the best Brett :)
