Fritz 8 settings

My Fritz 8 has "lost" the ability to store thinking time with the game.
Any ideas how I restore this feature? I need to work on my timekeeping...

Store thinking time/evaluations/expected moves are all ticked

Evalutation *is* stored correctly, but clock shows start times saved for
every move.

And I have tried unticking them and ticking them without success. I
guess some bit of registry has gone AWOL. I have a similar problem if I
run out of time where the pop up box re-appears again and again every
half second after I run out of time (sadly a not uncommon failing of mine).
