Weird problem with my burner

Here is the situation:
Cyber Drive 16/12/40 038D (latest driver)
Windows XP

Whenever I burn the disk, CD-R or CD-RW, and try to put it in right away, it won't read it, or other disks! It shows an empty disk, but the amount of free space left is right. I have to restart; sometimes once, sometimes more, and for seemingly no reason it starts to read the disks just fine. I've used Nero and Liquid Burn, happens with both.

any ideas? its not really a big thing.. just annoying

Maybe you have dirty optics in your drive. Try a CD-cleaning set.
