Does anyone know where I could get a Sanken CU-41 repaired? It has a
damaged HF capsule diaphragm, verified by a visual inspection. The
capsule will need to be replaced or rediaphragmed. I spoke to Tony at
Stephen Paul Audio who recommended I send an email to "Marsh" at
marsh@promediaaudio.com in Japan, as John Hardy did here some time
back. I've received no reply after a week however, so I though I'd ask
again here. If there's anyone in the US who does it that would be
ideal, and if not then perhaps there's an alternative elsewhere.
Thanks.

You could check with the distributor, Plus 24 Marketing. Martin there
should be able to recommend someone or have a good way to get it back
"home." Write him at mucik@plus24.net
(http://www.plus24.net/contact.asp in case that e-mail address doesn't
come out right).

Send it to Sanken. I suspect they'll replace the capsule with a new
one from Japan. The US Sanken rep is a good guy, and while his English
is not the best, he does good work.
