Hey,

I'm getting a P4 2.4 GHz system ( http://shop4.outpost.com/product/3684775 ), and I was thinking about some HyperX memory. 256 MB of PC3500 is going for 79.99 at outpost.com, and 256 MB of PC4000 is just $10 more at 89.99. The extra $10 seems worth it to me, since at the very least it'll last long enough to put into my next system (assuming mem reqs don't change for P5). As of now I don't have any plans to overclock, but I might consider it in the future as an alternative to upgrading. What do you guys think? Maybe I shouldn't even get HyperX (if I'm not going to overclock)? I know I want to get at least PC3200. But actually the price for PC3200 HyperX is 74.99, and the price for PC3000 HyperX is 54.99. Maybe I should risk getting the 3000 and clock it up to 3200? I'm guessing that the HyperX PC3000 will still be better than OEM PC3200, so I could still aggressively time my memory - only in that case is it worth it to get HyperX (OEM PC3200 ~ $39.99 at outpost.com).
