i have a dell (sony) trinitron D1025TM 17" crt.

ive noticed in the past couple months a sort ghost effect.

like on this site with the gray background where ever there is a black bar (like at the top or where it says tom's guides on the bottom) to the left and right (on the grey background) the grey is a little lighter than where there is not a dark color.

this goes for everything. websites, wallpapers, etc. but it doesnt make any wierd noises and the color is fine. it only does it to the left and right, not up or down. other than that the monitor is great.

but i have a feeling it is going.
changing the refresh rate doesnt help either.

just curious as to what others think. and if it is going, how long do you think i have?
