Hi All,

I need to dump my old CRT! I want to buy a 19" TFT with the view of buying another in the future to go along side it. I would mainly use it for general use, but I do a lot of graphics and video editing. Occasionaly I do a bit of gaming as well..... I'm really lost with all the different models and wondering what people think the top 3 contestents would be for my application? Budget maximum is 350-400 ish... but preferably less!! Please help!!

Keep an eye on newegg.com, I think they might actually have a Rosewill on there today for under 400. U would have to take a look though. Either that or try pricegrabber.com and see what u can find.

i would suggest eather going with a middle ground LCD(fast with realy good image quality) or straight up high Quality image.

Reason i say this is that
1. you WORK with it, Games take a back burner, especially when you don't play often.

2. Since you do video editing, im not too certain, but speed may play a facter that is why i suggested the middle groun. it is important that you have realy good image quality for any graphic work aswell.

3. I also suggest that you go only for a Good quality image and not worry about speed because you plan on buying a second monitor in the future. By then new modles will be on the market. Pick up the faster LCD, that way you have the best of both worlds.

hope that helps
