My computer is slow and I'm new with computer and I need to know what to do to make my computer faster because I'm tired of waiting for it to down load the things I want.
You need to tell us what kind of parts you have in your computer, and what operating system you have, and what internet connection you have. It sounds like you're wanting to increase your internet speed? Do you have cable? DSL? Dial-Up?
Send it to me, I'll sell it, and you can buy a faster one. And you'll still want a faster internet connection.

ok Kenny i'll try and educate you a small amount because honestly it will help you out in the future heaps.
this may baffle you at first, but i suggest that for each of the example i give you go and spend a few minutes researching at http://whatis.techtarget.com/definitionsCategory/0,289915,sid9_tax1673,00.html for whatever info you need to know, i think you absorb info better when looking for it yourself.
bear in mind that 8 months ago i knew NOTHING about PC's at all i was probably as educated as you are, i found out most things within a few hours.
list of the terms i sugest you look up
CPU - this is the chip that does all of the processing, meaning the higher number the faster is goes.
HDD - Hard drive, this stores all of your data, if you have a file saved its on the hard drive, the bigger the number the more you can fit on it.
RAM - this is like the hard drive but very fast and temporary. you don't need to know much about this except that it effects the speed of your computer considerably.
Motherboard - inside the computer everything is pluged into this so they can all talk to each other
Modem - this is what you talk to the internet with.
MHz, GHz - this refers to the speed of somthing, commonly used for the speed of the CPU, e.g. 2GHz computer
KB, MB, GB - this is a volume KB=1000 MB=1000KB GB=1000MB (roughly don't argue other gurus or i'll beat you up)
those are the main things to know but these might also help you to become a computer guru. (ignore if you are confused, but if you are confused its a good opertunity to research them)
FSB - front side bus, the speed at which data can flow between things, such as a 4 lane highway can transport more cars than a 3 lane one. used for the speed of the motherboard
DSL, Cable, broadband - this is a fast internet connection
56K - this is a slow internet connection (which is what i think you have, it is one where you dial into the phone line, where you here a noise and some electronic sounds before you can use the internet)
now HONESTLY i'm not joking when i say this the best way to find out ANYTHING YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND in what i have said is to look it up for yourself, you may not understand somthing you have looked up untill you look up another thing. after that you will feel great and be able to do anything. its not hard to do and PLEASE just spend 5 minutes finding out.
