I am tryin to record a song and voice over it at the same time, and have both my voice and the recording in one audio sample. So what i am saying Is there a soundcard that will let me record from the mic and record something off of stereo mix, like a song for example?

Or if i cannot do that, i would like to be able to talk on the mic and hear/record whats on stereo mix. lets say for Yahoo, i would like to record a conversation and still be able to talk to them, but only have their audio stream and not mine...

i have a Muse XL sound card and onboard VIA sound, i have tried everything to do this, if anyone can help me choose a better sound card, or help me confugre my audio settings, i would greatly appreciate it.

I know their is software that will let you record as many tracks as you want then channel it out to stereo signal.
Goldwave is some software that will do it.
