Hi,
We record our church services using a lot of close micing. I wish to add an
additional pair of mics (or stereo mic) to record the ambiance and the
congregation suspended about two thirds od the way back. We were using a
pair od AKG 451s temporarily with reasonable results. Should I install
these permanently or can anyone recommend a Stereo or pair of mics that
would be a better choice for this application.

If you like the 451 and you don't mind the fact that they block sight
lines and are kind of big, why not just use them?

That's a character set problem with the HTML. There's no Omega symbol
in most Western charsets, but Macintosh has one that gets translated to
a 'W' by
The escape sequence Ω will work for most browsers. It worked when
I saved and edited the page above.

Yep, those Mac people think they rule the world! :-)

The page has a "W" as the character and is using a basic font. The encoding,
if it ever went wrong, was wrong at the Mac, not my PC.
Whatever caused the problem, it looks utterly stupid and should be fixed
by simply writing "K Ohm". As it stands at present it looks like the author
didn't have a clue, and that would stop me buying from that shop.
