I'm trying to remember the name of two chess computers from the mid
80's.
The first was made by Fidelity. It was a travel kind of chess computer
and the pieces had pegs that fit into a hole in each square. It was
brown(?) and had a clearish plast lid that fit over the board, so the
pieces wouldn't fall out when you weren't playing. It was rectangular,
deeper than it was wide. I think I paid about $60 for it at a mall
while on vacation.
The second was about the size of a credit card, although it certainly
wasn't flexible. I don't remember who made it, but I think Novag. I
remember seeing it in the catalog from uscf.
Any ideas?
It's not critical, it's just a case where I've been trying to remember
for a week and it's starting to annoy me.
I did browse the web a bit, but I didn't see anything that looked
familiar. I probably just missed finding the right page.

Fidelity Tiny Chess 6118 looks like the model you described. It
sold for $69 in 1991.

Wow... what a flashback. I used to have the Mini Sensory. I still have a
Fidelity Designer 1500. It's hanging on the wall as art now.
