Distoration under XP running in VM

Running Win 7 in Dual mode with XP in VM. There seems to be some distortion when using XP. For instance, the icons on my Qucik Launch bar are to small. How can I make them large

When I click on Start the line above sya "Log Off" I want it to let me selecti Shut down or Log Off.

I can't seem to get Windows XP to work properly in the VM.

Maybe the "distortion" is because you've set a low resolution for your VM? As always, right-click on your desktop to see if you can change the resolution of your Windows XP virtual machine.

The resolution on my VM's display suddenly changed twice that I am aware of. The first time I noticed it was when installing desktop manager for a pen that digitizes handwriting. The software would not install because the display resolution was to low. Days later I noticed the resolution had changed and Iinstalled the software.

Do you have you any idea what may have caused this?
