It depends on what you are using it for, computer speakers arent the best for music and movies but some do a decent job. Computer games dont use 7.1 that much or at all.
Aslo, depending on what you want to use the setup for you might not need 7.1 unless you feel need to spend the money and have an area to set it up in.
Really for best sound, a home stereo and speakers would be best but alot more money.
Any decent 7.1 computer speaker system wont be bad. It depends how much cash you want to spend.
