I had a new hard drive installed and the sound is different from my old one is there a way to change the sound because the sound is loud and sounds like a car horn

new hard drive are quiet when new..if not the drive been dropped in shipping. if it under 30 days send it back for a replacment or a refund. (google hard drive sounds (failures). if it sounds like one of them..you know the drive berring is shot).

no it's nothing like that it's a western digital but when i uninstall a program or if a scan is completed a pop up screen comes up with the sound for the hard drive it sounds like a horn when i get popups from uninstalling or installing something

its the hard drive sound everything i install the hard drive has it's own sound when a popup appears my old hard drive popup sound was not as loud i want to know can it be changed?
