Which one should I have bought? I bought a Asus burner and sometime I wonder if a DVD burner is really worth all that... since I can just save the movie on my harddrive and watch that til I get tired of it (which is quick).

Also where the HELL can I get a copy of "The core" in Taiwan? I cant find it in any video store!

As of now I would say DVD+RW drives are the ones to buy. For under $200 for the SONY DRU drive and the capacity its a bargain in my opinion. I bought one a few months back and it ran me $300, their dropping quickly in price and they do both DVD and CD burning.

a burner only has a certain amount it can burn before it wears out. use a cd burner for cd's and a dvd burner for dvds. if u do this you will get many more burns.

so my advice is by both.
