a7n8x slot

on my a7n8x there is 3 slot for memory and i have only one memory (512mb ddr400) what i want to know is wich slot is it suppose to be because there is 2 slot close to each other and one slot apart from them. right now its on the alone slot.

My own beast: Athlon 2700xp+ , Radeon 9800pro (oc: 410/370) , 512mb ddr400. SO MUCH faster than my father pIII 550......

I checked your motherboard guide online. It shows the Dimm closest to the processor is the one you should use for one piece of ram.

Single Piece = Dimm 1
Dual Piece = Dimm 1 & 3 or 2 & 3
Three Piece = All Dimm's or Ex. 512mb Dimm 1
256mb Dimm 2
256mb Dimm 3
