Plantronics 590a bluetooth headset with a mx 5500 bluetooth dongle

Hi guys,

I have looked around all sorts of places about this and to no avail. I would like to know if anyone was or has actually been able to get a Plantronics 590a bluetooth headset working with a MX 5500 bluetooth Dongel from Logitech, i am having no luck. The dongel recieves it but drivers wont install.

I should also add i am running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Any information would be phenonemal guys!

Sounds like a compatibility issue. I take it that the native drivers that come with Windows will not do the trick? I have a bluetooth dongle on my PC and it works fine with W7 Pro 64 bit, but I am unsure of the brand at this moment. If I figure it out, I'll post it and if you can return the one you are having issues with, you can maybe think about switching it out for a compatible dongle.

I am thinking about just buying a cheap one from ebay. I hope 2 dongles on the 1 computer wont clash. If not it will end up with my laptop.
