How does Dual channel work and performance

Hey,

I was just wondering how dual channel works and what kind performance diferences you would get by using it,

Also some pics of benchs would really help me out.

PC3200 is 64-bit DDR400. The P4 C series has a 64-bit, QDR800 bus. So the CPU bus has twice the bandwidth of the RAM. In order to double the bandwidth of the RAM to match, Dual Channel makes 2 64-bit modules act as 1 128-bit module. The performance improvements, etc, are self explanatory.
