DVD Burner MIA

It seems odd to me that the Plextor brand was missing from the new DVD burner review. I know the article says you did not receive a unit from Plextor, but seeing as to how their burners are usually considered top tier product, you could not have borrowed one somewhere? Strange to me.

I noticed the Plextor was missing as well. I myself have been testing/Using the Plextor PX-708A for over two weeks now.

The only problem I have found is that Firmware 1.02 has DVD media issues, this means you onlt can use a limited make of DVD media

I have noticed on cdr-info there is a 1.03 Release of the Firmware. It states it inceases the make of media the drive can detect.

i was just at sharky's and they finally brought back their $4000 buyers guide. they listed a dvd -burner and the one they chose was the plextor pc-708a @ $234.
