I would like to capture the actual audio streams from various different
programs like winamp, itunes, live 365, aol without actually recording the
sound from the soundcard which records all sounds including the clicking of
th emouse, closing of windows, ect. I found one program but it is only good
with winamp and it's called StationRipper. ANything similar for multi
program or incoming stream format please let me know.

It is easy to turn off the silly Windows noises.
Even has benefits when you're NOT recording.

Total recorder works well and is cheap, I use it every day.
