upgrade

if i upgrade to a new pc.. from p3 to p4 can i use my same hard dive with win xp? or do i have to reinstall win xp?i dont want to lose programs on my hardrive and certainly dont want to have to reinstall win xp.

you will probly be fine, just a bit of driver mess to clean up. but its not recomended. when i get a new computer i always format and reinstall.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

Think of it this way: a couple of hours of a clean install and reinstalling programs will benefit you much better than worry about what went wrong if you don't do this. But, it's still your choice. Maybe you'll be the lucky one that doesn't have any problem. Who knows?
