Anyone know how to check total hours of head use, on a Tascam DA-30 & DA-30
MkII? It's not in the operation manual anywhere. I'd imagine it would be a
held set of key(s), while powering up. Did a Google, and couldn't find
anything except some other diagostics, but no total head use hours.

Pretty sure there is no such facility. Very few DAT's do this, it is more
often found on multitracks like DA88 etc.

Nope..have the MKll and it dose not have head hours function.
