Download UOgateway and retrieve the list from there!

There are a lot of Pre-UOR servers out there. If you want to go all
the way back to original UO (dread lords and such), then the only
server like that is UO Gamers: Rebirth. Their web site is
http://www.uogamers.com. Nice thing about it is that it is run by the
people that write the RunUO server emulator, and can do a lot of
things other shards can't. They left out the learn by watching thing
so your skills cant be atrophied by greifers with camp fires.

All of OSIs shards will work with the original client as long as it is
patched up.

Same for most of the player run shards as well.

General rule of thumb: If a shard REQUIRES you not to patch up, it's
probably not a good shard. (Newer is almost always better, in terms of bug
removal anyway)

In other words, it's not actually what you/they claim it is; 'original
UO'.

Correct. It's More of a "Pre-T2A Mith Mods" than a pure "Pre-T2A".
