DASH is still kind of alive and well... it's not exactly a popular format
today, but there are folks still using it. Market value on the machines
is not particularly high these days and seems to depend a lot on location.
There are a few cities where DASH was very popular and where there are
still some entrenched users with some demand, just as there are a few cities
where the Mitsubishi machines were very popular and where there is still
dome demand for the Mitsubishi gear.

Quantegy is still making DASH tape right now as well, and probably
will keep making it for a while.
