DVD media question

How makes the best DVD media? I plan to use DVD-Rs and want to make sure I'll be using the best possible media. I have the Pioneeer A06 and want to use 4x media. I have a spindle of 50 Memorex 4x DVD-R discs, but don't want to burn any until I am sure those are what I want to use. Please advise.

DVD-R will work for almost every component DVD Player on the market and will definitely work in your computer, the DVD-R format was the first on the market, and my DVD Player wouldn't use the DVD+R because it was an older DVD PLayer, but DVD-R worked just fine.
So you shouldn't have any problems, but I'd still do a test burn to find out first, then burn away!
