Hello,
I have SONY TMR-RF925R earphones which I use to help me hear TV. They do not work with DVD's. The TV is a Panasonic 'Viera' about 3-4 years old. We have a suround sound system for the TV. The suround sound is turned off when a DVD's is on.
I hope you can help,
Faith LaBossiere

"It seems like most of the pairs under 100 USD get bad grades. I own a pair of Sennheiser RS 130 (rf headphones) and they sound great. If you use RF wireless you have to deal with some noise and hiss sometimes but in exchange you get freedom ;) . The disadvantage with IR headphones is that they only work when the light is visible, when something comes in the way you will loose the signal. The sound quality is pretty much the same as RF headphones I guess.

The perfect solution. <a href=""http://www.pro-audio-warehouse.com""> Pro-Audio-Warehouse</a> has a converter so that you can convert the optical to standard analog. Then you can use you regular wireless headphones. It is the <a href=""http://www.pro-audio-warehouse.com/tv1-pof830.html""> Optical-to-Coax Audio Converter</a>. The price is good too.. $22.74.. Can't go wrong.
