New server has its' messages numbered differently from the old server.

Your newsreader sees these new numbers on the messages and thinks you
haven't read them so decides to download them again.

At least that's what I think has happened,
plusnet.support.customer-feedback has a thread or 2 on it but I can't
recall if +net has actually come up with an explanation yet.

It's been dead for me too. I actually checked the Google groups
yesterday to see if there were messages that I wasn't seeing
but there was nothing there either.
