I just bought a p4p 800 deluxe mb. I was thinking of going with a gig of ram and a 2.6c cpu. I want to be able to over clock the cpu to its full performance potential, without breaking the bank, weather that means lower over clock but lower latency or higher oc but higher latency, I don’t know. I want some ram that is cheap, stable and over clockable. Some say the low latency is more important than the oc. What ram would you buy for my set up?

I found this stuff on new egg:
http://secure.newegg.com/app/shoppingcart.asp?submit=vi...

Mushkin Level 1 DDR 512MB PC3500 Model 991087 - OEM
Specifications:
Type: 184-pin non-ECC, non- buffered DDR
Speed: PC3500
Capacity: 512MB
32x8 Drams
16 chips
Timings: CAS 2-3-3 more info>
N82E16820146298 $117.00

Would this do the trick? High oc and low latency?

Thank You

mushkins good ram, go at least 3700 though for better OC.

Stay away from Corsair LL ram as it has a tendency to stuff up with 865 and 875 chipsets. Corsair is one of the best brands though so consider their other stuff.
