Hey peeps, im thinking about buying a printer/scanner/copier can anyone make a recommendation as to what a good one is. Looking to spend about $200.
So far I have looked at 2 different ones one by lexmark (P6250) and one by HP (PSC 2355 Q5789A)
If anyone has either of these also, please give me your experiences good/bad

Thanks

not an answer just another question and a "bump" to the post:

I had a similar question. I'm not sure if many people look in this section though. My epson c80 is pretty much shot it seems. I found the article someone linked for the standard printers:

It looks like canon pixma iP4000 or iP5000 is the way to go on standard printers.

I was also curious about the 3 in one deals though. Any good advice? Is hp pretty much the only option? Which model(s) have people had good experiences with? Do they hold up well or is one thing going to break and make the whole thing useless or aggravating?

As far as my preferences go: I have a printer which isn't working properly and needs ink as well as a used fax machine which I rarely use that has some issues with the ink cartridges drying up as well. Having one item that works instead of two that don't would be a plus. I rarely use the fax but it is convenient to have upon occasion. As far as a scanner goes that would be a luxury which I don't really need. It is likely I might use it if I had one though. I also would prefer an open-faced scanner to a page feed type. Basically all I really "need" is the printer. I wanted to look into the options though before I spend $100-200 on a printer alone.

HP as far as I know is defintely the best overall brand for printers but you probably have to pick specific models within their lines to get the best one, in a review i read recently i think a canon came out on top but that was just regular printing.
I bought the HP PSC2355, will let you know in a week or so how it turns out...
