I don't shop Abercrombie & Fitch, but I was in one the other day with my
wife and heard some pretty impressive sound from the speakers they are
using in their stores.
Anyone know what brand & model these are? I would like to audition a set
that isn't in the store.
I have seen (heard) them in 3 different stores now, so I am guessing it is
chain-wide.
The system consists of 2 white satellites, each with a small green arrow
on them and the word "play" underneath. There is also a powered sub that
is concealed in the ceiling and is otherwise not visible aside from a red
power LED. Anyone know anything about these? Who makes them? What model
are they? Where can I find them to take a serious listen to?
Thanks!

They are Tannoy i5 AW speakers that have been rebadged for the
specialty commercial sound installation company that installed them.
We have a pair of the Tannoy models here on display. The subs are also
Tannoy, but are a custom ceiling install type and are not practical in
other situations. Tannoy makes other subs for the home that are very
nice. The satellite speakers can be bought white or black and are also
weatherproof. Yes, I'll agree that it's some of the best background
sound in any retail environment. It might be a bit more fun to visit
Victoria's Secret as they use them also!
