I have a p1006 hp laser printer. i want to use it in a network. I ahve a Linksys psus4 print server that i am getting ready to pitch. I couldn't obtain help from Linksys or HP. Printer works fine plugged straight to PC. I wold very much like to know if the psus4 will work - I know i will have to download the Driver for Win 7 , but will that work ??

Print servers are a PITA. I would recommend simply keeping the printer hooked up to the computer (if it is a desktop) and setting up a print network that way (print sharing).

Thanks for your help- since i sent the question - i have purchased a " netgear" print server. I hope it works better than the " Linksys"
Based on my available desk space and layout - i decided to try a different print server. Thanks - jim
