DIY External DVD Writer

Dear All,

I bought an enclosure to DIY my USB2.0 external DVD writer. After all setup was done, I started to use Nero Burn attemping to burn a DVD. But the Nero burn cannot recognise the writer. What should I do? Please help.

Did the Nero software come with your burner, or is it a version you already had? And can you read files just fine from the external drive?

Thanks Bardic, I've just resolved the problem. It was just due to the USB port. Now everything is perfect.
