Sam's Club has a very nice-looking 17" Sceptre with 16 ms response time for $278.00. The model is X7G-Komodo II*.

Unfortunately, it's VGA only, but the price is right and if it's a decent monitor...

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience (good or bad) with Sceptre LCDs.

At least the good thing with Sam's is you can return anything within 90 days if you don't like it. So it's pretty much risk-free. But I don't want to have to haul it back and forth to the store if it sucks.

I seen this too. My question for you is, why not buy the 19in for $20 more and pretty much the same stats? I went with a Nu L921G but had to order it online. I had to get a DVI out.

Crap, all the good ones are already taken.

The 19" is 25 ms, and the 17" price dropped to $225!

I bought it for $225 and I'm very happy with it. No DVI, but for only $225...
