Is it worth the money?

And why are only 4200 RPM hard drives available for centrino notebooks?

I believe so, a 1.6GHz Pentium - M is higher performing than a 2.4GHz P4-m and is much more thrifty in terms of battery.

That's not true, The Dell Latitude D800 can ship with a 5400rpm 40GB HDD>

Do you mean price or performance? The price difference is not that great, I would definitely recommend that you fork out for a 5400rpm. The performance is definitely noticeable as the HDD is always th e bottleneck in notebook computers.

Heh, I looked at them. Pretty pricey, and they only have 32 meg ATI Radeon cards... I was looking for 64. If it's not one thing, it's another. :D

The search continues for the perfect notebook.

I just configured mine with a GeForce 4 Go4200 64MB card (better than ATI M9). That's wierd. Maybe you should look again (D800)!
