My friend and I are trying to build a computer and when we start it up we get this error "Secondary IDE Channel No 80 Connector cable installed" and "floppy disc(s) fail (40)" (although this i'm sure is because we didnt put a floppy drive in it.) I am pretty sure we have all the cables hooked up properly, any idea on how to fix this ?

Make sure the cable on the secondary is an 80 wire and/or it is good. The floppy failure I wouldnt worry about. if your not installing one then disable it in the bios.
