There is no other method, you need a new phone. Several bluetooth issues have come up with that phone, no fixes worked aside from a new phone. You can try to contact RIM to see if they have anything, but from the writings about this issue, the device needs to be replaced.
You're welcome, sorry about your situation. You may be able to find a phone on ebay or somewhere to replace yours and just get the service transferred over if you can't get a replacement phone through the vendor.
