That is wierd.
Man I wish people would listen to the advice given on this forum.. theres a huge anti-creative faction for good reason!

i have to pull out a quote from you-
the best quality for entertainment, you have no choise but audigy2zs.
Still true?

About your problem, try reinstalling your drivers.. that fixes most Creative problems for a while but it will come back.
Also try the top and bottom PCI slot but that never fixed the popping and snapping for me.
Try increasing your PCI latency also.

problem solved by disabling Creative Game port!! use onboard game port instead( if you still using non usb gamepad) :p
this should apply to all A7N8X series users :p

Good work! I tried that with my audigy and nforce2 (I've tried everything!), it never made a difference for me.

Thats really strange that it fixed your problem.
Good to hear people are still starting at the FAQs.

I just fixed a bone headed problem myself with my Thrustmaster Dual Power gamepad, the force feedback wasnt working so I checked their website and read the info and they said make sure you are using the latest drivers.. I had the latest installed but windows defaulted to the older windows update versions!!

I never used creatives gameport anyway, I figured it was poorly implemented.

I wonder if disabling your onboard wouldve done the same thing?
You are always supposed to have one of the two disabled to reduce conflicts.
